We had a small group of 5 women that went for a day tour. The place is absolutely beautiful! The tour guide we had was very interesting and informative. We loved our visit!
Loyd Hall is a relatively secluded plantation. It is an area of peace and tranquility. I think it's a perfect place to go to disconnect (that's not to say cell service is an issue, though). I highly recommend bringing mosquito spray when visiting. I left with upwards of 10 bites!
The wife and I spent a night there recently and I must say it was a wonderful experience. The staff was amazing, and cottages were immaculate. The breakfast was awesome, and the tour of the mansion was another added benefit. I would definitely recommend staying there every chance you get. We will be back there again soon!

Rooms are large and clean, with outstanding environmental controls. Remodeled bathrooms are a definite plus! The grounds keeper gave us an in depth historical review of the plantation that added enjoyment to our overall experience. I recommend staying at this plantation.
